Our story
From one workshop to a showroom in Lisbon
Velluto began in 2009 in a small upholstery workshop near Porto, making sofas for hotels along the coast. Guests kept asking where they could buy one.
Today we work with five family workshops, each the best at one thing: upholstery, solid wood, leather and cane, lighting and stoneware. Every piece is still made to order, by hand, by the same people.
